Right Back AI — Privacy Policy

Right Back AI ("the app", "we") helps you hear and talk with the voice of a loved one, using voice notes you provide. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Right Back AI is operated by Rebord LLC.

Information we process

• Voice notes you add (forwarded from WhatsApp or imported from Files) and microphone audio you record while talking in the app.
• Details you enter about the person: name, relationship, dates, language, accent, and any free-text notes you choose to add.

No account is required and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the app.

How we use it, and who we share it with

• To create a synthetic voice (a "voice clone") and a conversational AI agent so you can talk with it.
• The voice notes and details above are sent to ElevenLabs, Inc., a third-party AI voice service (United States), which generates and runs the voice and the conversation. Your microphone audio during a call is sent there too, and real-time call audio is carried over LiveKit. Requests pass through our backend hosted on Cloudflare.
• We ask for your permission inside the app before any of this data is sent, and we tell you what is sent and to whom. Nothing is transmitted until you agree.
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We require these processors to protect your data with safeguards equivalent to those described here; their handling is also governed by their own privacy policies (ElevenLabs: elevenlabs.io/privacy).

Storage & retention

• Your list of voices and audio files are stored on your device.
• The generated voice clone and conversational agent are stored at ElevenLabs only while the voice exists in the app. When you delete a voice in the app, the app immediately deletes the generated voice and agent from ElevenLabs as well, so nothing is left server-side. We do not keep a separate copy of the voice clone or agent on our own servers.
• ElevenLabs may retain operational logs under its own data-retention policy (elevenlabs.io/privacy). For any further deletion request you can also contact us.

Consent

Before the app sends any voice notes or details to ElevenLabs, it shows you a consent screen that explains what will be sent and to whom, and asks you to agree. If you do not agree, no data is sent and no voice is created.

Voice rights & impersonation

You may only create a voice from recordings you have the right to use. By creating a voice you confirm you have permission to recreate that person's voice. The app is intended for recreating the voice of your own loved one — not for impersonating public figures or any third party who has not consented. We act on reports of misuse and may remove generated voices.

Third-party processors

ElevenLabs, Inc. (third-party AI voice cloning & conversational AI), LiveKit (real-time call audio), Cloudflare (backend). Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

Your choices

You can delete any voice and its notes at any time from within the app. Deleting a voice also removes the generated voice clone and conversational agent from ElevenLabs. For any other request, contact us.
